Corrective lens wearers in America The Vision Impact Institute conducted a research to identify the number of people in the U.S. who use vision correction. According to the study, 3 out of 4 Americans require vision correction, and of that number, 71 percent use glasses and 22 percent use contacts. However, the study uncovered that of the people who use corrective lenses, a whopping 41 percent don’t wear their corrective lenses like they’re supposed to.
